    About the Role

     

    As a Facilities Maintenance Technician 3, you will perform advanced maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and building systems in accordance with standard operating procedures, manufacturer specifications, and safety requirements.

     

    This position requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You’ll serve as a technical expert within the team—someone who leads by example, shares knowledge generously, and helps raise the bar for quality and safety performance across all operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Advanced Maintenance: Perform complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

    • Preventive Programs: Lead and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring documentation accuracy and timely completion within CMMS.

    • Diagnostics: Identify root causes of recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term, sustainable solutions.

    • Leadership in Practice: Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and teamwork while informally guiding and mentoring lower-level technicians.

    • Safety & Compliance: Champion safety culture by modeling best practices and ensuring all work meets C&W Services and OSHA standards.

    • Coordination: Collaborate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other departments to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize operational downtime.

    Basic Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.

    • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

    • Proven ability to lead by example and support team development.

    • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

    • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently on complex systems.

    • Proficiency using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required. Travel between sites will be a requirement of the role.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Associate degree or higher in a technical, mechanical, or electrical field.

    • Experience with HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS).

    • Experience with Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems and regulatory compliance.

    • Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), controls, and automation.

    • Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence team members positively.

    About the Role

    As an HVAC Technician 2, you will perform maintenance and repair work on HVAC and mechanical systems within an industrial or logistics environment. You’ll support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, perform system troubleshooting, and ensure reliable operation of equipment critical to building comfort and efficiency.

    • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including air handlers, pumps, fans, and split systems.

    • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and MEP-related issues.

    • Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of temperature controls and automation systems.

    • Respond to and close out work orders in the CMMS system, documenting all time, materials, and work performed.

    • Support safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and client safety standards.

    • Coordinate with senior technicians and contractors on larger system repairs or equipment replacements.

    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools and parts are properly stored.
