    What you'll do...

     

    + Provide legal advice and counsel to a broad assortment of clients in Walmart’s US Merchandising Division, with a particular emphasis on complicated commercial transactions.

    + Work collaboratively across Global Governance, while working alongside other attorneys and professionals supporting Walmart Merchandising.

    + Deliver advice and counsel on a wide range of legal topics, including commercial contracts and disputes, antitrust and competition, foundational intellectual property, and merchandise compliance issues.

    + Provide pragmatic legal guidance and workable solutions to the business.

    + Draft and negotiate contracts that help the business, while mitigating corporate risk.

    + Identify the need for legal/compliance support for business projects.

    + Collaborate well with cross-functional stakeholders.

    What you’ll bring:

    + You have experience working in house in a corporate environment

    + You have worked on legal matters pertaining to retail operations

    + You have experience working on Intellectual Property, Antitrust, and Regulatory Compliance matters

    + You have experience working on cross-functional teams

    + You have strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders

    + You have at least 5 years of experience at a business-oriented law firm, or in-house role

    The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

    Law degree from an accredited law school and 5 years’ experience in law.
