    Overview

    About this Position:

Team One’s CG team creates cinematic, real-time experiences that bring ideas to life across TV and interactive media. This role builds the tools and workflows that make that possible—developing our Unreal Engine pipeline, solving technical challenges, and empowering artists to create stunning, efficient real-time visuals.

    What You’ll Do:

+ Develop Pipeline & Tools: Build and optimize a pre-production pipeline for the Visualization team using Unreal Engine

+ Create Custom Tools: Design editor-based tools, widgets, and artist-facing utilities in C++, Blueprints, and Python to streamline workflows

+ Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Visualization artists, CG generalists, and production teams to align technical and creative needs

+ Enhance Real-Time Workflows: Implement and maintain real-time rendering, data I/O, and asset compatibility between Maya and Unreal

+ Provide Technical Support: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve real-time engine issues across production

+ Lead Technical Standards: Ensure pipeline tools and processes remain current with industry best practices and evolving Unreal Engine features

+ Communicate Effectively: Translate complex technical solutions for both technical and non-technical collaborators to ensure smooth production delivery

    What You Bring:

+ 5 - 7(+) years in real-time production (film, TV, or game cinematics)

+ Strong C++ and Python development skills on Windows

+ Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Perforce) and production asset management

+ Deep experience with Unreal Engine, including Blueprints

+ Solid grasp of previs / techvis / postvis and real-time visualization workflows

+ Experience profiling and optimizing Unreal performance

+ Background in rigging, animation, or real-time rendering workflows

+ Experience with Maya scripting (especially PyMel) and integration into production workflows

+ Understanding of virtual production tools and processes

+ Proven problem solver who adapts tools and workflows to project needs

Why It’s Great to Work Here:

+ We live by our C.O.R.E. values:

+ Collaborative - We work together to get better stuff done than we could alone

+ Optimistic - Honest and confident in our quest forward; believing the impossible is possible

+ Results-driven - Creativity is always in service of results and never for its own sake

+ Entrepreneurial - Build something new. Shoot for the moon.

+ We’re part of Publicis Groupe which is a huge global network, so there are many resources that come with that like Business Resource Groups for a variety of communities like Publicis Parents, VivaWomen, Egalité, etc.

+ We give back to our communities with our annual Day of Good and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

+ We love to grow our talent and promote from within whenever possible, and we offer professional development trainings and regular structured performance reviews.

+ We have a lot fun! We have a whole committee called “Team Fun” that plans parties and events for us to celebrate birthdays, holidays, cultural moments, etc. Some recent fun events include a flower bouquet bar, origami lessons, and hearing from creative entrepreneurs at our Moonshot speaker series.
