    This position oversees the Minnesota Unemployment Insurance (UI) Program’s Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program. The incumbent provides direction and operational leadership to supervisors and staff who conduct reemployment session with UI applicants.

    Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

    + Overseeing implementation of RESEA sessions to ensure all mandated elements are included and that applicants have the tools necessary for rapid, successful reemployment.

    + Collaborating with the director and other members of UI Program leadership to ensure services align with overall UI business model.

    + Coordinating with Minnesota’s Job Service staff to support applicant work search plans.

    + Review, evaluate, and ensure correct reporting of RESEA Program outcomes.

     

    This position is telework (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework.pdf) eligible. This position in based in the St. Paul office and may be eligible to telework up to two (2) days per week. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment. Please note, the telework policy could change with notice based on business needs.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.** **Only applicants whose resumes clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for this position.

     

    Four (4) years of experience supervising teams or serving as a team lead in the public sector, and implementing strategies to improve consistency and quality of service delivery within a statewide program.

    Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following:

    + Experience creating training materials and business processes.

    + Experience reviewing and consolidating performance data to evaluate areas for improvement and training needs.

    + Experience interpreting US governmental guidance, overseeing government-administered program, and reporting results.

    + Experience with functions, procedures, organization, and governing laws and regulations guiding the activities of the Unemployment Insurance Program.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Four (4) years of supervisory or team lead experience in an Unemployment Insurance Program.

    + Bachelor’s or advanced degree in any field.

    + Experience with unemployment benefits and program workflows.

    + Technical knowledge sufficient to plan, organize, direct, implement, and explain complex programs and practices.
