    In this position...

     

    + Supervise a team of 10 or more Air Induction System (AIS) and Exhaust System Design and Release Engineers located in FNA/FOM.

    + Lead & ensure successful delivery of all engineering KPIs including Quality, Cost, Weight & Functional Performance for Nano V6 Powerpack programs.

    + Responsible for delivering the most efficient designs through all program phases from Pre-PS, Sourcing, Development, and Launch.

    + Responsible for adhering to FMA, DVP&R, Quality History & Prevent Recurrence

    + Lead resolution of AIMS/JIRA/Warranty/DV/PV issues.

    + Responsible for meeting/exceeding quality targets for Air Induction and Exhaust Systems.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + Lead teams to successfully deliver on-time program milestones with quality while meeting cost, performance, NVH, durability, and other vehicle performance requirements.

    + Build strong relationships and collaborate with supplier base.

    + Interface and communicate with all levels of management within IPTSE, and supporting functions (Purchasing/STA/VHM/PVT/Quality)

    + Construct & develop business cases for various design changes & commercial negotiations.

    + Ability to share & present work to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

    + Support core engineering with program lessons learned via Tech Club and other forums.

    + Analyze designs during the development process & address any potential failures & error states.

    + Lead Quality issue resolution using 8D process and other problem-solving methodologies and statistical methods.

    + Support Air Induction and Exhaust Systems TVM deliverables.

    + Lead EPRC/CCRG discussions on Air Induction or Exhaust System related concerns.

    + Support STA and PVT with supplier issue resolution.

    + Support Purchasing/Supply Chain through the sourcing and commodity management process.

     

    You'll have...

     

    + BS in Engineering

    + 8+ years of experience in D&R

    + Demonstrated cross functional team leadership skills.

    + Thorough knowledge of GPDS, FEDE Workbench, FEDEBOM, WERS, and other applicable for ERP applications.

    + Strong written and oral communication/presentation skills.

    + Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload.

    + D&R supervision experience in underbody commodities

    + Experience in Air Induction and/or Exhaust Systems

    + MS in Engineering or Management

    + Full Program launch experience from TSC/PSC – OKTB on at least one major program.

    + The ability to teach and mentor a broad range of direct reports.

    + A passion for success and delivering objectives in challenging environments. **Even better, you may have...**

    + D&R supervision experience in underbody commodities

    + Experience in Air Induction and/or Exhaust Systems

    + MS in Engineering or Management

    + Full Program launch experience from TSC/PSC – OKTB on at least one major program.
