+ This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Pasadena CA or Tempe, AZ. **This is not a remote role.**
As a **Senior Product Manager** focused on the Payroll Tax module within SmartCompliance Solutions, you’ll drive strategic enhancements, optimize client experiences, and deliver scalable tax compliance solutions for organizations of all sizes. You’ll work across product, engineering, operations, compliance, and client success teams to ensure our solutions remain best-in-class. Experience in using AI as product management tool & building AI powered product features is preferable. Experience in payroll tax is preferred, but a passion for simplifying complexity is essential.
To thrive in this role, you must take command of your product, lead multiple team's efforts, and be a deep listener who can ask the right clarifying questions to help understand the problem your stakeholders are trying to solve. You've worked with Agile teams and understand product delivery cycles. You have experience explaining the prioritization of a product roadmap, creating that roadmap, and documenting in a way that both external and internal teams will understand. You have held roles where you regularly communicate and defend ideas to a broad audience of stakeholders. What You’ll Do:
+ **Lead Product Initiatives** : Own the product strategy cycle from end to end, roadmap, and execution for SmartCompliance Payroll Tax features—from concept through release. Close collaboration with the scrum team.
+ **Build for Scale** : Ensure our tax capabilities support growing regulatory requirements, client volumes, and service delivery needs with high performance and reliability.
+ **Collaborate Across ADP** : Partner with engineering, UX, operations, compliance, and internal business stakeholders and partners to develop and refine product capabilities.
+ **Deliver User-Centric Solutions** : Gather insights from clients, partners, and internal teams to shape product requirements and optimize workflows.
+ **Ensure Compliance Excellence** : Work closely with ADP’s compliance experts to keep SmartCompliance up to date with evolving payroll tax regulations.
+ **Measure Impact** : Define key success metrics, track product performance, and use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
+ You'll have a bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
+ 5+ years of experience in Product Management with a strong focus on B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
+ Strong data nalytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to inform product decisions.
+ A deep understanding of agile product development methodologies and tools like Jira, Tableau and Pendo.
+ Experience with payroll tax compliance, filings, or remittances, or a background in financial or regulatory technology solutions is preferred.
+ Experience with AI/ML products, designing or integrating AI chatbots, or virtual agents for customer service use cases is preferred.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and data driven analysis.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. We offer the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short-and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is USD $63,900.00 - USD $171,180.00 / Year*
*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
