What You'll Do
+ Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, mechanical, utility, and building systems.
+ Checking and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) to ensure optimal performance for critical areas such as Operating Rooms.
+ Performing preventive maintenance (PMs) — approximately 100 PMs per quarter — using our computerized work order system.
+ Troubleshooting electronic, electrical, and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and schematics.
+ Evaluating HVAC systems for performance and efficiency improvements.
What We're Looking For
Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED, required
+ Two years of vocational training in HVAC operation and repair, required
Experience:
+ Five (5+) years of commercial HVAC installation and maintenance experience, required
+ Healthcare facility experience, preferred
Licensure/Certification:
+ CFC Universal Certification (EPA Rule 608), required
+ State HVAC license, preferred
+ Valid Driver’s License, required
Skills Required:
+ Applied knowledge of life safety, mechanical, and building codes
+ Expertise in operation and maintenance of:
+ Chillers, chilled water systems, and cooling towers
+ Boilers and steam systems
+ Air handling and distribution systems
+ Strong understanding of DDC controls and electronic building automation systems
+ Proficient computer skills for managing digital PMs and work orders
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Preferred Skills:
+ Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
+ Proficiency with PC programs and digital maintenance tools
+ Keen ability to detect changes in equipment noise or performance
