    In this position...

     

    Ford seeks an enthusiastic, experienced Full-stack QA Automation Engineer to lead and build elegant and scalable automation testing solutions to power a digital buying experience. In this position, you will be leading one of the workstreams with other QA automation engineers and a group of Software Engineers to design, build and test the global solutions for Vehicle commerce along with Accessories, Parts, Merchandise commerce. We are the technical core of the eCommerce Platform, maintaining a strong engineering culture that encourages innovation, growth, and development.

     

    Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a required four-day onsite presence each week

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + Develop, document, and maintain test plans, procedures and scripts and perform well-defined product-level integration tests

    + Coordinate with developers, Business analyst to understand the requirements and plan the testing schedule.

    + Conduct the functional and regression testing regularly to support the regular production deployments.

    **You'll have** ...

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

    + 7+ years of experience with Ecommerce E2E Automation Suite, BEV Vehicles data creation tool, API automation using Ready API or similar

    + 3+ years of experience with code repositories and tracking systems such as Git, Confluence/SharePoint, JIRA/Rally for documentation, scripts, results, configuration, and supporting data

    + 3+ years of experience with BDD framework, Test Automation and API microservices automation scripting

    + 3+ years of database knowledge and API testing experience doing data quality testing with large data sets

    + 3+ years of collaboration with extended integration partner teams to define and execute exploratory and automated API tests as well as experience with test automation concepts, platforms, systems, and tools (BDD, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured, Rest Clients, TestNG, Cucumber/Gherkin, etc.)

     

    Even better, you may have...

     

    + Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field

    + Knowledge of Ford.com ecommerce functional flows for testing happy path and unhappy path

    + Good knowledge of Pricing and Finance integration to external systems

    + Understanding of Ford global pricing and finance systems in the context of ecommerce.

    + Experience in working with any IDE tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.

    + Knowledge about contract testing using Pact or similar framework is preferred.

    + Good understanding of eCommerce domain is a plus o Establish and promote QA guidelines, best practices and standards

    This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.
