    Batteries Plus is looking for a Jr Designer/Developer to support the creation of engaging, user-friendly digital experiences across our eCommerce platforms. In this hybrid design and front-end development role, you'll help bring creative concepts to life by combining visual design, UX principles, and clean, maintainable code. Working closely with senior designers and the eCommerce team, you'll contribute to the design and development of landing pages, web components, and prototypes that enhance our online customer experience and strengthen our brand presence.

    What You'll Do

    + Assist in designing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and documentation for digital experiences.

    + Support the implementation of new web features and components in collaboration with the eCommerce and CX teams.

    + Maintain and apply brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency and accessibility across all designs.

    + Help optimize user flows through UX feedback, data analysis, and usability testing.

    + Contribute to maintaining asset libraries, design systems, and documentation.

    + Write and test front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to implement designs.

    + Troubleshoot minor front-end issues and support development tickets as needed.

    + Stay current with digital design trends, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices.

    What We're Looking For

    + Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 1 year of professional design or front-end development experience.

    + Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

    + Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

    + Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) preferred.

    + Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    + Portfolio demonstrating both design and development capabilities required.
