Job Description
The strategic Initiatives Manager works with Branch and Small Business Regional Executives to find and take advantage of opportunities for growth and improvement. The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate, execute, and deliver projects and improvement initiatives spanning across departments, while ensuring project success and achievement of strategic objectives. This includes playing an active role in the project, as well as managing and directing project resources. Support processes for reviewing strategies on a regular cadence to refine strategies and respond to changes in the operating environment as they emerge. Explore new areas of work outside of the existing initiatives and programs as appropriate. Help foster a culture of cross functional collaboration, implement organization wide frameworks and best practices across complex operations/projects
Project group manager managerial scope includes:
+ Defines initiatives to drive results up; improve line of business performance and create bottom line impact for internal client. Partners with line management to design, develop, and implement programs to meet unique needs of client.
+ Drive ongoing training and adoption of creative workforce strategies. Support operations leadership team to execute on strategic initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
+ Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
+ 10 or more years of experience in project management and leadership activities
+ Six or more years of managerial experience
PREFERRED SKILLS /EXPERIENCE
+ Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
+ Demonstrated management and leadership skills
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills
+ Advanced knowledge of project management
+ Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $143,905.00 - $169,300.00
