Job Summary

Passionate about Architecture? Interested in infrastructure projects in the Water Sector? TYLin is seeking an Architectural Intern to join our Chicago team for the Summer of 2026.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

+ Work directly with lead architect on projects that are presently under construction or are in the design phase.

+ Participate in submittals during construction phase.

+ Complete shop drawings.

+ Work on multiple projects simultaneously through different phases.

+ Additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team (Competencies)

+ Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment

+ Strong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behavior

+ Commitment to innovation and continuous learning, with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvements

Your Education and Experience

+ Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture

+ Experience using Revit required

+ Understanding of water infrastructure preferred
