    Position Overview:

    Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is looking to hire a qualified Senior Systems Engineer who enjoys working with the end customer to ensure mission success. In this role, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of a $7M contract supporting critical Defensive Cyber Operations with global impact. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background across a wide range of technology in hands-on roles, experience managing teams in a DoD contracting setting. This is an exclusive opportunity to engineer solutions for unique challenges in mostly unclassified spaces in support of our warfighters.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Perform BOM Analysis.

    + Receive BOMs from the customer and evaluate request against current warehouse inventory.

    + Create pick orders in flowtrac.

    + If a description is provided instead of a SKU, search online for viable options. Prioritizing TAA options. If none are available, notify the customer when nonTAA options must be used.

    + New product analysis. Assist the customer in exploring new products are requested. Providing both procurement and technical insight.

    + Coordinating Procurement and warehouse operations to ensure stock is maintained and pick orders are fulfilled.

    + Provide feedback to the customer weekly or as requested.

    + Exploring Flowtrac operations developing consistent processes, and writing SOPs to track these processes.

    + Must be able to communicate effectively with the Prime contract and customer.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + 10+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering:

    + Systems architecture (Windows, Linux, ESXi)

    + Network security architecture

    + Software development

    + Networking

    + Virtualization

    + Defensive Cyberspace Operations within any Service Cyber Command elements or other Government organizations.

    + Domain Knowledge:

    + At least 5 years of experience with current defensive cyberspace TTPs.

    + Knowledge and background with key cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and methodologies

    + Knowledge and experience with network protocols, virtualization, architecture design, and defense in depth practices

    + Possess basic theory and operational concepts for infrastructure security and hardening processes, techniques, and best practices

    + Experience using automation tools (Ansible, Python, Scripting, etc.)

    + Well-versed in virtualization technologies, virtualization management (vCenter, Kubernetes, etc.) and virtual machine and container deployment and configuration

    + Understanding of the function and operation of Defensive Cyber tools, including Splunk, Elastic, Zeek, Palo Alto, RedSeal, VMware, and others

    + Leadership & Technical Management:

    + Experience with Agile project management (Jira,

     

    Confluence).

     

    + Knowledge of best practices in the realm of security patching, authentication, and log retention.

    + Experience working within a security framework for compliance and auditing.

    + Proven experience managing teams of at least 5 personnel.

    + Proven experience managing technical solutions to federal government (preferably DoD) of a value of at least $25M

    + Proven experience with DoD Acquisition Process.

    + General Requirements:

    + Proven experience collecting requirements from the customer and producing a working solution.

    + Proven experience working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment (if you need to start the day knowing how your day will end, this is not the position for you).

    + Ability to research new technical concepts and quickly generate ideas on how its use could improve mission.

    + Organized, able to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.

    + The ability to work directly with a highly technical customer and provide expert customer service.

    + The ability to successfully work with people with a variety of skill levels and backgrounds.

    + Proven ability to write, document, and maintain processes and procedures related to architecture changes, engineering efforts, and security compliance.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.

    + Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar)

    + Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance

    + Must have an active driver's license and clean driving record

    + U.S. Citizenship

    + Ability to travel within the United States < 25% of the time.

    + Must be willing to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

    + Hands-on experience with computer forensics and/or penetration testing
