Painter - Facilities Management - Full Time (1.0) - Day Shift

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Group Leader and/or Maintenance Supervisor, the Painter provides all aspects of painting, refurbishing and maintaining the interior and exterior decor with little or no supervision.

Core Job Responsibilities

+ Familiar with the safe use of all hand and power tools related to the position.

+ Understanding of local building and hospital codes

+ Ability to understand and complete preventative maintenance programs.

+ Have some general electrical and mechanical experience

+ Working knowledge of snow plow operations

+ Able to hang and finish sheet work.

+ Familiar with all types of painting and staining

+ Experience with wall papering

+ Experienced with furniture refinishing

+ Basic experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing

+ Experience in acoustic grid work and ceilings

+ Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Skilled tradesman with a minimum of 5 years experience

Licensure/Certification Requirements
