    Job Description Summary

    As a Senior Sustaining Engineer, you will play a critical role within the project engineering team, driving key initiatives that support plant performance and cost-savings objectives. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver a variety of projects, including product design modifications, product material changes, process changes related to product changes and feasibility work at project inception. This position requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments to ensure successful execution of strategic goals.

    Responsibilities

    + **Lead Cross-Functional Projects:** Manage and guide cross-functional teams to deliver key plant sustaining projects that support cost-savings goals to lower total cost of manufacturing.

    + **Project Planning & Execution:** Develop project plans, create business cases, define specifications, and manage budgets to ensure successful execution.

    + **Capital Management:** Prepare and submit capital budget requests when required for projects.

    + **Comprehensive Project Management:** Oversee projects across all plant departments, including product design changes, product material changes, process changes related to product changes and feasibility work at project inception

    + **Continuous Improvement:** Identify, propose, and implement sustaining projects that significantly reduce total cost of manufacture.

    + **Vendor & Equipment Management:** Manage vendor relationships and oversee equipment design, specifications, procurement, and installation as needed.

    + **Machine & Process Implementation:** Direct the purchase, installation, and commissioning of new machines and processes, including custom-built solutions as needed.

    + **Problem Solving & Innovation:** Provide leadership in creative problem-solving and develop solutions independently, securing necessary resources as needed.

    + **Technology Development:** Research, develop, and implement new technologies related to sustaining projects as needed.

    + **Validation & Analysis:** Write and execute test method validations, process validations, and measurement system analyses to ensure compliance and quality standards.

    Education and/ or Experience Required** **:

    + Required: BS degree – Science, or Engineering related field

    + Required: 3 years experience in sustaining or process engineering with project management experience in a manufacturing environment
