As a Dispatch Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include managing communications, supporting patrol teams, and responding to incidents as they arise. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate vehicles as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and coordinate communication between teams, visitors, and emergency services within the location using radios, phones, and other dispatch tools.

+ Document all incidents and calls for service accurately in dispatch logs, maintaining up-to-date records for the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying essential information to security-related personnel and management.

+ Follow site-specific protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments, including emergency response procedures and communication practices.

+ Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and relaying information to clients, employees, and visitors as needed.

+ Assist with the deployment of security-related personnel during incidents or routine operations by tracking their locations and status.

+ Support Allied Universal's security-related procedures and site policies as outlined for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
