The Marketing Communications Intern will work closely with members of the Communications Team of the Firm’s Business Development & Marketing Department in support of various firm and department initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Draft and distribute press releases and media pitches
+ Update attorney biographies and liaise with attorneys on edits
+ Assist with media list research
+ Post alerts, events and newsletters to web site and/or firm intranet
+ Assist with social media post creation and research
+ Assist with other writing tasks, including event invitations and other materials, as necessary
+ Special projects, as assigned, for the Business Development & Marketing Department and Firm, including but not limited to: survey responses, production of PowerPoints for attorneys, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
+ Some related marketing/communications experience/second or final Co-op preferred
+ Candidates must have strong writing capabilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
+ This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
