What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location, responding to situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the wellbeing of staff, patients, and visitors.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions, documenting incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials when required, and supporting visitor management procedures.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed, coordinating with healthcare personnel when appropriate.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behaviors and provide reassurance to those on site.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
