What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.

+ Identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual situations to appropriate personnel.

+ Document incidents and maintain detailed reports as required by site-specific procedures.

+ Support emergency response efforts, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when needed.

+ Handle access control, verify identification, and enforce client policies and procedures at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
