    As a **Security Guard - Tech Site Clearance Required** in **North Charleston, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology and media environment, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and assisting visitors. This stationary post allows you to help to deter security-related incidents and support daily operations through exceptional customer service and clear communication.     What You'll Do:

    + Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service in a professional manner.

    + Monitor access control to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor activity, deliveries, and any security-related incidents at the front desk.

    + Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as necessary during emergency response activities.

    + Follow security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the location.

    + Assist with security-related administrative tasks, such as issuing visitor badges and maintaining sign-in records.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Must have 1 or more years of security-related, armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

    + Must possess an active Department of Defense Confidential, Secret, or Top Secret Clearance.

    + Must have a valid law enforcement officer license.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
