    Position Summary

    The **Civil Engineer** will be responsible for providing engineering support for lifting, rigging, and heavy haul operations. This role includes designing lifting plans, preparing structural calculations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with project managers and field crews to guarantee the successful execution of complex projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and review **lifting and rigging plans** , including load calculations, crane configurations, and site layout drawings.

    + Conduct **site assessments** to identify ground conditions, crane setup areas, and load path feasibility.

    + Prepare **engineering drawings and calculations** for crane operations, hydraulic gantries, and specialized transport equipment.

    + Ensure all work complies with **local regulations, safety standards** , and **engineering best practices** .

    + Collaborate with the **operations and logistics teams** to plan and execute heavy lifting and transportation projects.

    + Provide **technical support** during on-site operations.

    + Participate in **risk assessments** and **method statement preparation** .

    + Liaise with **clients, contractors, and third-party certifiers** as needed.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering** (Structural or Construction emphasis preferred).

    + 3+ years of experience in **heavy lifting, rigging, or specialized transportation projects** .

    + Proficient in **AutoCAD** , **STAAD.Pro** , or similar structural analysis software.

    + Knowledge of **ASME** , **OSHA** , and **ANSI** standards related to lifting and rigging operations.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    + PE License or equivalent (preferred).

    + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

    **Pay Details:** $60,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
