•ABOUT WOODLAND AND JOB CORPS CENTER
The Woodland Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn theirHigh School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), along withhands-on trainingin:

+ Carpentry
+ Building Construction Technology
+ Culinary Arts & Advanced Culinary Training
+ Hotel & Lodging
We also assist students withjob placementupon completing their educational and career technical training.

•POSITION SUMMARY
+ Assist inpreventative and ongoing maintenanceof the Center facility, grounds, and systems.
+ Basic knowledge ofPlumbing, HVAC, and Electricalis a plus!
+ Work alongsideMaintenance Helpersand interact withthird-party contractors.
+ Check the maintenance ticketing system to ensure tasks are completed within3 business days.
Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm
•MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION
+ May superviseJob Corps Work-Based Learning studentsassigned to maintenance foron-the-job training.
•RESPONSIBILITIES
+ 🔧 Performrepairs and preventive maintenanceon facility/building systems
+ 🔍 Inspect work of other maintenance personnel
+ 📦 Research & recommendequipment replacements
+ 👷 Overseetraining activities of studentsin maintenance
+ 🛠 Superviseoutside contractorsas needed
+ ✅ Conduct periodic inspections of building systems & equipment
+ 🔄 Coordinate withFacilities Maintenance vocational training programif applicable
+ 📝 Completework orderstimely
+ 🚗 Providestudent transportas necessary
+ 🕒 Maintain attendance, accountability & productivity

Qualifications
•QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
+ Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
+ Experience:Minimumone yearin building maintenance required. Technical certificate preferred.
+ Skills:Working knowledge ofcarpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers, and other building systemspreferred.
+ Licensing:Must possess a validin-State Driver’s Licenseand meet Company insurability requirements.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability tosit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull/push, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch.
+ Demonstrates the ability tolift 40 poundsand/or assess the lift load to request necessary assistance.
