The Woodland Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity toearn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas:

+ 🏗 Building Construction Technology
+ 🍳 Culinary Arts
+ 🍽 Advanced Training - Culinary Arts and Hotel & Lodging
We also assist students withjob placementupon completion of their educational and career technical training.

•Position Summary
Responsible for working with the Recreation team to provide students with acomprehensive and diverse recreation program. Promoteshealth and wellnessthrough overseeing the recreation activities as outlined on the approved recreation schedule.

•Responsibilities
+ 🛡 Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures; ensures no manipulation of student data
+ 👥 Assists with supervision of acomprehensive and diverse recreation program
+ 🏀 Coordinates recreation activities with CPP and Social Development, including evening programming
+ 🌐 Coordinates recreation and leadership activities/programs with Center and local community resources
+ ⚠️ Ensuressafe practicesand program compliance within prescribed safety guidelines
+ 📝 Documents student participation and accountability during recreation activities
+ 📦 Maintains inventory of equipment and materials; recommends purchases; performs repairs as needed
+ 🏢 Maintains appearance, condition, and organization of recreation department facilities
+ 🧑🎓 May oversee student recreation aide program
+ 🕒 Producesquality workin a thorough, timely, and accurate manner
+ 📊 Maintainspersonal attendance, accountability, and productivity standards

+ 🧾 Accepts direction and supervision from Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager, including temporary assignments

Qualifications
•Qualifications & Experience
+ 📜High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ 🎓Associates of Arts Degreeor1-year related experience working with youth
+ 🚗 Must possess avalid in-State Driver’s Licenseand meetCompany insurability requirements
+ 🚌CDL preferred
Physical requirements:
+ 🏃♂️ Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching
+ 💪 Demonstrates the ability tolift 40 poundsand/or assess the lift load toask for necessary assistance
