    **Position:** Full-Time Litigation Paralegal

    **Location:** Florence, SC

    Company Description

    Florence-based law firm specializing in **commercial litigation, insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense** for businesses, manufacturers, and healthcare providers. The firm also handles **environmental law** and **alternative dispute resolution** services like mediation and arbitration. Known for its experienced attorneys and high ethical standards, the firm represents clients in complex civil matters including **construction defects, product liability, and personal injury claims** .

    Role Description

    This is a **full-time, on-site** role as a **Paralegal** focusing on **Insurance Defense** with a requirement to **track and bill time** .

     

    The position requires a **Certificate or Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field** and is located in Florence, SC.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Tracking a large caseload managed by several attorneys

    + Preparing legal memoranda

    + Communicating with clients and third-party vendors

    + Assisting attorneys with mediation and trial preparation

    + Drafting pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and motions

    + Managing calendars, prioritizing case tasks, and supporting attorneys as needed

    Qualifications

    + Paralegal certification or degree in a related field preferred

    + Knowledge of law and experience in legal document preparation

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Experience in document review and analysis

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

    + Familiarity with insurance defense is a plus

    **Pay Details:** $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
