    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This individual will play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and supporting the manufacturing processes and design standards for our modular products, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and innovation in every solution we deliver.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and refine engineering designs for new and existing product lines, including ceilings and containment assemblies.

    + Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, On Shape, or similar CAD platforms.

    + Ensure products comply with relevant codes and certifications such as CISCA and ISO 9001.

    + Participate in product testing and validation to ensure structural and airflow performance standards are met.

    + Support customer-specific requirements with tailored design solutions.

    + Work closely with sales, project management, and installation teams to understand client needs and translate them into manufacturable designs.

    + Participate in design reviews and value engineering sessions.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.

    + 3+ years of experience in manufacturing design engineering, ideally in building products, modular systems, or structural steel fabrication.

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks, On Shape, or similar 3D CAD software, with a strong understanding of GD&T.

    + Familiarity with metal forming, welding, and assembly processes.

    + Strong grasp of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) principles.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a manufacturing setting where you will utilize advanced technologies and equipment. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure products meet quality standards and client expectations.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Ladson, SC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
