    Construction Project Manager – Commercial Projects

    Reports To: Director of Construction / Senior Project Manager

    We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager who’s ready to take ownership of exciting commercial projects across Southeast Wisconsin.     What You’ll Do:

    + Lead Projects from Start to Finish: Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

    + Own Subcontractor Relationships: Evaluate qualifications, negotiate agreements, and ensure performance aligns with project goals.

    + Coordinate Documentation: Review and manage shop drawings, mock-ups, meeting notes, and design clarifications.

    + Drive Execution: Oversee daily site activities, resolve issues, and keep projects on track.

    + Manage Closeout: Lead punch list efforts, coordinate walkthroughs, and finalize documentation for smooth project handoff.

    + Control Financials: Review invoices, assist with collections, and prepare monthly reports to track performance.

    + Communicate Clearly: Keep clients, subcontractors, and internal teams informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

    What You Bring:

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field

    + 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects

    + Proficiency in Procore, RFIs, change orders, and construction documentation

    + Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and field operations

    Additional Skills:

    + Natural leadership and team coordination abilities

    + Sharp problem-solving and analytical thinking

    + Confident communicator and skilled negotiator

    + Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects

    Work Environment:

    This is a full-time, onsite role with regular presence on project sites across Southeast Wisconsin. You’ll work closely with field teams Monday through Friday to ensure progress, quality, and safety.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

     

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
