Job Title: Traveling Quality Control Manager
Experience: 3+ years in construction quality control
Position Overview
We are seeking a Traveling Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality control for dredging projects. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of construction quality control and has full authority to act on all QCM matters.
The QCM will be onsite throughout construction, serving as the liaison between the contractor and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage and enforce construction quality control for assigned projects.
+ Submit daily QC reports through RMS (specific to dredging projects).
+ Provide surveys and documentation to USACE via RMS.
+ Ensure subcontractors use correct materials; conduct spot checks with USACE.
+ Maintain clear communication with Project Managers and Site Managers.
Required Skills & Expertise
+ USACE standards and RMS reporting
+ Construction Quality Control (CQC/CQM)
+ Dredging and marine construction
+ Excavation, bridge, levee, and waterway projects
+ OSHA 30 compliance
+ Federal construction experience
Minimum Qualifications
+ USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification
+ 3+ years of quality control experience
+ Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
