    Job Title: Wire Harness TechnicianJob Description

     

    We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician who is enthusiastic about being part of a close-knit team of passionate individuals in the space systems field. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to continuously learn and improve while being involved in assembling spacecraft hardware, soldering and PCB inspections, harness builds, component and assembly testing, and supporting environmental testing campaigns.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble spacecraft hardware, including soldering and PCB inspections.

    + Build and test harnesses and wire connectors.

    + Follow step-by-step guidelines for building electrical and/or mechanical assemblies, documenting processes as they occur.

    + Operate torque wrenches and similar tools to meet product specifications.

    + Work alongside engineers to troubleshoot hardware problems.

    + Support Propulsion Module and Spacecraft Testing.

    + Install project-specific sensors such as thermistors and accelerometers.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in IPC 620, J-Std, and J-Std-001 standards.

    + 10 years of experience in soldering, crimping, and harness build.

    + Experience with electronics testing and board repair.

    + Ability to obtain IPC certifications for wire harnessing and soldering assemblies.

    + Experience in reading and following drawings and written instructions.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with CAD software, Visio, and Excel.

    + Familiarity with NASA Certifications for soldering, crimping, and harnesses.

    + Experience with non-conformance resolution and vacuum chambers.

    + Good time-management skills.

    Work Environment

    The position is in a cleanroom environment, requiring the ability to lift 50 lbs and climb a 13-foot ladder. The company offers a supportive culture with a smaller team of around 120 employees, offering benefits such as a 401k matching program, full benefits including education reimbursement, and paid time off. The company also provides a shutdown period from Christmas to New Year's.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Littleton, CO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
