Engineering Technician – Aerospace Durability Analytics

Join a cutting-edge aerospace team in East Hartford as an Engineering Technician, where your work directly supports the integrity and performance of components in the hottest section of the engine. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends technical inspection, project coordination, and engineering support—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
+ Master inspection techniques using handheld photography tools, magnetoscope devices, and airflow bench systems
+ Execute standard work procedures: select tools, set up benches, and document results in digital templates
+ Lead special projects outside standard scope and manage supply orders for Crib & D-Bldg teams
+ Provide technical guidance to the O/S team, prioritize workflows, and uphold quality standards
+ Communicate across departments (HSE, MPE, CPR) and vendors using MS Outlook/Teams and LotusNotes
+ Submit work requests via Granta and maintain inspection SOPs
+ Troubleshoot bench equipment and drive continuous improvement in inspection practices
What You Bring
+ Associate degree from a technical college
+ 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace setting
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong documentation skills
+ Experience in mechanical assembly, part inspection, and troubleshooting
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Familiarity with SAP and project management soft skills is a plus

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Hartford, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
