    Purpose of Position:

    As a member of the Internal Operations Team within IDVR, this position researches, extracts, adapts, and analyzes program information and data to ensure quality and integrity for Federal and State reporting, as well as data trend analysis. Assists with the day-to-day operation of IDVR’s information and database systems and operations requiring compliance at the State and Federal level. Designs Power BI dashboards to inform leadership in their decision-making. Designs and implements SARA (case management assistant) tasks to support case management activities.

    Responsibilities:

    + Validate and ensure data accuracyfor State and Federal reporting requirements through rigorous data extraction and validation processes

    + Maintain and enhance agency data dashboardsto improve access to and use of process information; recommend dashboard improvements to support data analysis and case management activities

    + Analyze performance metricsby comparing actual results against established targets, and design data dashboards that effectively track progress toward agency performance goals

    + Collaborate with Business Analyststo identify data requirements, extract relevant data, and deliver accurate, well-formatted datasets that meet analytical and operational needs

    + Coordinate with stakeholders, management, and team membersto gather input, align objectives, and implement data-driven improvements

    + Lead quarterly error and anomaly checksto ensure data quality and compliance with reporting requirements

    + Serve as ITS liaison and Help Desk coordinator, providing technical and operational support to statewide agency users

    + Perform other related dutiesas assigned to support agency operations and data initiatives

    Minimum Qualifications (MQ's):

    + Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and identify solutions

    + Considerable knowledge and experience in using and building data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI

    + Good problem-solving, time management, and project management skills

    + Good written and verbal communication skills for reports, presentations, and collaboration with internal stakeholders

    + Ability to prioritize and multi-task

    + Ability and willingness to travel which may include overnight stays

    The above minimum qualifications are typically gained by:

    + Attainment of a Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, information technology, or related discipline and at least 2 years of work experience engaged in the activities described above or

    + An additional 2 years of work experience can substitute for the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree
