Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to oversee plumbing repairs, maintenance, and new construction at an industrial manufacturing facility. The role involves troubleshooting industrial plumbing and piping systems and requires reviewing building plans and specifications to determine layout and troubleshoot piping systems and related components.

Responsibilities

+ Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and new construction in an industrial manufacturing facility.

+ Troubleshoot industrial plumbing and piping systems.

+ Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout and troubleshoot piping systems, piping controls, and related components.

+ Work comfortably with PCS, Steel, Carbon, and other types of piping and pipe systems.

Essential Skills

+ Valid Journeyman or Master License.

+ 4+ years of plumbing experience.

+ Experience in plumbing within an industrial setting.

+ Proficient in troubleshooting plumbing systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Backflow certifications.

+ Knowledge of construction, electrical systems, and blueprint reading.

+ Skills in installation, brazing, threading, mechanical, and pipe fitting.

+ Experience with conduit bending, plumbing/fire protection, and hazardous waste piping.

Work Environment

Work at the GM Flint Assembly Plant. Enjoy a structured work schedule with multiple shift options: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri), 2nd Shift (11pm-7:30am, Mon-Fri), and 4th Shift with varying hours on weekends. The facility is equipped with modern technology and adheres to safety and operational standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Flint, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80080.00 - $80080.00/yr.

Union after 90 days, great benefits.

Opportunity to get hired into GM after 2-3 years, lots of times sooner.

GM likes to pluck people from Aramark.
