Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to work on wood and metal frame buildings. This role involves working with steel stud framing, wood framing, trim, concrete, and light demolition work. The candidate will be required to use various hand tools daily, including power drills, tape measures, hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws for cutting materials prior to framing. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, allowing you to utilize and expand your carpentry skills. The candidate will be in a leadership role, overseeing others and occasionally working independently on special projects.

Responsibilities

+ Work on wood and metal frame buildings.

+ Perform steel stud framing and wood framing.

+ Conduct trim, concrete, and light demolition work.

+ Use hand tools such as power drills, tape measures, hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws.

+ Oversee and lead a team on various projects.

+ Work independently on special projects when required.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of carpentry experience with references.

+ Experience in steel stud or wood framing with references.

+ Ability to read blueprints and self-start projects.

+ Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in finish carpentry is a plus.

+ CDL license is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
