Job Title: Clean Room Assembler
Job Description
This role involves the meticulous production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing team. Responsibilities include detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery as per documented procedures, which may involve electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Additionally, the role requires cleaning tools and equipment according to documented procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble medical devices and related components using microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and operating various equipment.
+ Perform routine assignments following specified and/or standardized procedures.
+ Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
+ Execute tests on units using computerized test equipment.
+ Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
+ Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.
+ Maintain accurate records to ensure travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are correct, ensuring all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures at a 6th-grade level.
+ Basic math skills at a 6th-grade level.
+ Effective verbal communication in English.
+ Understanding and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
+ Good dexterity for handling and maneuvering small components and parts.
+ Ability to prioritize work and make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior sewing experience.
+ Experience with catheter and medical assembly.
+ Familiarity with cleaning and following work instructions.

Work Environment
Work in an ISO 8 cleanroom environment, requiring candidates to wear a lab coat, hair net, gloves, and shoe covers. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WESTFIELD, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
