Job Title: Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of ammunition for the military as a Production Supervisor. You will oversee a team of approximately 25 employees in an assembly and operating capacity. This role involves managing hours reporting, scheduling, conducting interviews, providing performance feedback, and leading safety meetings.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise and oversee a team of 25 employees in assembly and operating capacities.

+ Manage hours reporting, scheduling, and conducting interviews.

+ Provide performance feedback and lead safety meetings.

+ Ensure continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.

+ Implement production management and process improvement strategies.

Essential Skills

+ 5 years of experience as a production supervisor or lead.

+ Proficiency in supervision, safety, and production supervision.

+ Knowledge in assembly, production management, and continuous improvement.

+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process improvement, and Six Sigma.

+ Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical degree.

Work Environment

Work on the 2nd shift from 4pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday, with flexibility in scheduling. The shop is climate-controlled, very clean, and organized, consisting of two facilities next to each other. This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

4-10s (3 day weekend)

Not a lot of OT: 40-50 hours a week

Maintenance Manager and Director of Ops are great - very easy to work with
