Aerotek is hiring for Machine Operators for a Manufacturing Company located in Brownsville, TN. These positions are 6 month contract to hire opportunities paying $22-$26/hr depending on experience. Please apply for immediate consideration.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operators to join our team in a manufacturing facility. This role involves handling materials for compounding, operating machinery, and ensuring production quality in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and stage materials production, perform machine set up to specifications, and HMI settings (modifying RPM's)

+ Starts machine and sets controls according to the process sheet to regulate vacuum temperature and synchronizes speed of equipment.

+ Run, operate, and perform minor preventative maintenance on machinery.

+ Maintain 2 lines production - must be able to multi task and monitor hopper levels,. temps, vacuum pressures, etc.

+ Performing tooling changes and utilize tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. (crescent wrenches, allen wrenches, power tools, hand tools)

+ Load product and material in to machine, monitoring product flow, temperature, modifying settings, to ensure quality products.

+ Manually push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs, throughout shift, and be able to move 700 - 1200 lbs wheels (roll them) changes every 25 minutes

+ Operate sit down, stand up forklift, and electric hand truck to move materials and finished product

+ Examines and samples products for defects and provides samples to lab for testing.

+ Perform basic testing using calipers, gauges, testing thickness, ID and OD tolerances, weighing samples, and logging findings

+ Modifying products by changing the settings through HMI to different temp, RPM, to fix products (will be trained)

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in machine operation.

+ Familiarity with HMI systems and general production processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Computer knowledge for batch sheet logs and HMI experience

Work Environment

The facility features non-temperature-controlled areas that can become hot during summer and cooler in winter. Individual fans and portable air blowers are provided for comfort. The shifts are from Monday through Friday.

First shift -from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Second shift - 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm

Third shift - 10:45 pm to 7:00 am

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
