Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production and test equipment, monitoring processes, and recommending improvements as needed. You will ensure compliance with company safety policies, maintain accurate production records, and perform tests and measurements on parts to guarantee product quality. This role involves interfacing with quality assurance, assisting in the transport and exchange of materials, and inspecting production equipment daily.
Responsibilities
+ Operate production and test equipment.
+ Monitor and recommend improvements to the area as needed.
+ Comply with company and area safety policies and practices.
+ Maintain accurate production records and equipment operation records.
+ Perform tests and measurements on parts to ensure product quality.
+ Interface with quality assurance to ensure product quality.
+ Assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, supplies, and parts.
+ Inspect production equipment daily.
+ Support and foster active participation in corporate values and comply with the Management Systems requirements.
+ Handle hazardous materials and samples.
+ Ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and gas cylinders.
+ Operate basic hand and power tools.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in machine operation, particularly with injection, assembly, molding, and stamping.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and quality control.
+ Ability to operate an injection molding machine and other production line equipment.
+ Proficiency in using computers and touch screen devices.
+ Familiarity with the metric system.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in production or a related combination of skills.

Work in a very clean and automated production facility. The stamping and molding areas offer more independent work, while plating and assembly are more team-focused environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
