    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    The assembler will take fiber cable, measure, cut, and place it into a clip following a blueprint or work instruction. Each colored wire must be fed through a connector with perfect accuracy. After feeding the wires, a small drop of epoxy is added, followed by a curing process and final polishing to ensure all connections work properly. Small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes may be used to complete these assemblies.

    Responsibilities

    + Measure and cut fiber cables accurately.

    + Follow blueprints and work instructions to assemble wires.

    + Feed colored wires through connectors with precision.

    + Apply epoxy and ensure proper coating of wires.

    + Place assemblies into curing devices and conduct final polishing.

    + Test completed assemblies for functionality.

    Essential Skills

    + 0-1+ year of manufacturing experience with small parts or medical device assembly.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to see and differentiate colors accurately.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with guidewire, hand tools, and microscope assembly.

    + Familiarity with assembly in clean room environments.

    + Knowledge of blueprint reading and medical assembly.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a newly renovated facility as part of a new division that's expanding rapidly. The work environment is a clean room without strict dress code requirements, allowing business casual attire. Assemblers wear smocks, and optional gloves or safety glasses are provided. The position offers 1st and 2nd shifts, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Hudson, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
