Job Title: Tool Crib Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Tool Crib Technician for a 1st shift position. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing hand and power tools, making air hoses and fittings, calibrating equipment, and performing ladder and vacuum repairs. You will also track tools using Microsoft Excel and Outlook, managing inventory, warranty repairs, and tool distribution across various plants and facilities. This fast-paced role requires standing for the duration of your shift and effective communication with both internal partners and vendors.
Responsibilities
+ Repair hand and power tools, air hoses, fittings, and equipment.
+ Calibrate equipment and perform ladder and vacuum repairs.
+ Use Microsoft Excel and Outlook to track tool inventory and repairs.
+ Manage tool distribution among plants and facilities.
+ Communicate professionally with vendors and internal partners.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of industrial tool crib maintenance and repair experience.
+ 3+ years of experience repairing hand and power tools.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in tool crib leadership is a plus.
+ Must be a team player and willing to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Work Environment
You'll work on a sprawling 900-acre campus, with two new plants recently added. A work truck will be assigned to you for campus travel, though it is not to be taken home. Training is provided, with resources readily available to ensure you have the necessary parts and tools. The role is performance-based, focusing on quality repairs rather than temporary fixes. You will be stationed in the maintenance building, specifically in the tool crib, and will receive bonuses based on units completed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Middlebury, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
