Job Title: CWI Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Inspector to interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. This role involves setting up and calibrating testing equipment and performing non-destructive tests using visual inspection techniques, Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to identify errors or defects in products. The Inspector will also oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement
+ Set up and calibrate all testing equipment
+ Perform non-destructive tests using visual inspection techniques, Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
+ Identify errors or defects in products
+ Oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in welding inspection and non-destructive testing
+ Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI) certification
+ Experience performing visual weld inspections and non-destructive inspections for acceptance or rejection
+ Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Current certification in MT and UT (in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A) is a plus; training provided to obtain certification

Work Environment
This position is located in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The work schedule is a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 am to 5:30 pm, with compensation for 40 hours.

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
