    Job Title: Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The position involves picking, packing, rotating, and inspecting products with a high level of attention to detail. The associate will be responsible for processing goods into the warehouse and packaging goods for both domestic and international shipments.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately, consistently, and safely follow directions for selecting products from a pick ticket or storing new products in a highly detailed aviation parts warehouse environment.

    + Operate forklift, pallet jack, and any additional equipment as needed.

    + Inventory, identify, and select small, specific parts from inventory locations accurately.

    + Fulfill all data entry requirements into Warehouse Management System accurately.

    + Pick, palletize, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO (First in First out).

    + Hand stack products in a specific sequence and location inside a box or package for shipment.

    + Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.

    + Return undelivered or mis-picked products to their proper inventory locations.

    + Transport products from storage area to designated shipping area within expected time.

    + Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.

    + Observe safe product handling techniques and cooperate with supervisors and peers.

    + Adhere to the company's attendance policy.

    + Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE as required.

    + Engage in 5S and lean activities as directed by warehouse management.

    + Perform various other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with at least 1 year.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    + Experience in picking and packing, order picking, and using RF scanners.

    + Ability to operate powered equipment including electric pallet jacks and forklifts.

    + Familiarity with aviation parts and quality assurance is beneficial.

    + Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently for job tasks.

    + Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting between 20 to 100 pounds with reasonable accommodation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a warehouse environment as a warehouse associate operating powered equipment.

    + Familiarity with Zebra scanners is a plus.

    + Previous work in an aviation maintenance or parts warehouse is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse within a new facility, providing a comfortable and modern space for all employees. The warehouse operates from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays. Safety and efficiency are prioritized to ensure a positive and productive atmosphere.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
