Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift maintenance technician who will be responsible for effectively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all machinery and facility equipment throughout the plant.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain machinery throughout the plant, including industrial saws, hand and power tools, welders, torches, plasma cutters, hoists, and material handling equipment.
+ Regularly troubleshoot electrical systems up to 3-phase 480v, change out electrical motors, and follow schematics if available.
+ Install new machinery using material handling equipment, lifts, and/or pour concrete.
+ Complete and adhere to a detailed preventive maintenance schedule.
+ If necessary, troubleshoot PLC systems by following ladder logic.
+ Perform facilities maintenance as required, including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.
+ Engage in welding and fabrication tasks.
+ Regularly use multi-meters for various tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience.
+ Mechanical maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors.
+ Electrical troubleshooting experience with the ability to read schematics, use multimeters, and troubleshoot up to 480v 3-phase systems.
+ PLC troubleshooting skills, including reading ladder logic and troubleshooting relays, switches, and sensors.
+ Facility maintenance experience in areas like lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ PLC programming knowledge.
+ Certifications, degrees, or completed courses in a skill trade.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Work Environment
The work environment is a chassis fabrication plant, which is busy, loud, and can be messy at times. The position is for the 1st shift, from 6am to 2:30pm, averaging 40-50 hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Middlebury, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
