Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Electrician responsible for running pipe, pulling wire, roughing walls, and installing EMT pipes (1-1.5 inches in diameter). The role also involves installing light fixtures, ensuring precise and neat installation of new wiring and fixtures to maintain steady voltage, and installing switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, appliances, and other elements as projects near completion.

Responsibilities

+ Run pipe and pull wire for electrical installations.

+ Rough walls and install EMT pipes (1-1.5 inches in diameter).

+ Install light fixtures, switches, outlets, and appliances.

+ Ensure precise and neat installation to maintain steady voltage.

+ Read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Essential Skills

+ Apprentice Electrician's License issued by the State of Michigan.

+ 2nd year apprentice electricians and above.

+ Experience with running pipe, pulling wire, roughing walls with MC cables, and installing EMT pipes.

+ Commercial/Industrial electrical experience.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints/schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Verified Apprentice card.

Work Environment

This role is part of a new construction project based in Novi, MI, within a 100,000 sq. foot entertainment complex. The role includes installing and building panels, running pipes, pulling wires, installing light fixtures, and roughing walls with MC cables. The project is expected to last until the end of July or beginning of August, with potential for permanent retention afterward. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with possible overtime during the week or on the occasional Saturday, totaling 40-55 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of Novi, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
