Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator who will be responsible for setting up and operating Cincinnati and Baykal presses. The role involves running various jobs within the .005 - .035 tolerance range and handling thicknesses ranging from .020 to .250. You will assist engineering in calculating flat layouts and are expected to have long run experience, including multiple setups. A key part of the role is conducting quality checks throughout all stages of the process and providing first and last pieces to quality for inspection.

Responsibilities

+ Set up Cincinnati and Baykal presses.

+ Run jobs within .005 - .035 tolerance range and thicknesses from .020 to .250.

+ Assist engineering in calculating flat layouts.

+ Perform multiple setups as required.

+ Conduct quality checks throughout all stages of the process.

+ Provide first and last pieces to quality for inspection.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with brake press machines.

+ Experience in Press Brake operation and setup.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and operate press brake machinery.

+ Skilled in using calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1 year of experience in Multi Axis and Setup of a brake press.

+ Experience on a Cincinnati press is a plus.

This position is within a metal stamping company focused on production. The work environment is dynamic, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
