Aerotek is seeking Structural Fitters - paying up to $25/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our expanding team, focusing on our new product line of skid-mounted data center racks. You will play a crucial role in fitting up channels and I-Beams using blueprints, tacking and prepping your own materials independently.
Responsibilities
+ Fit up channels and I-Beams using blueprints.
+ Tack and prep materials independently without assistance unless necessary.
+ Utilize Mig and Flux-core welding techniques.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in Structural Fitting.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Ability to fit up and tack independently using Mig and Flux-core welding.
+ Possession of personal tools necessary for the job.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a medium-sized shop, collaborating with a team of experienced fitters including 3 first-class and 4 third-class fitters. We offer two shifts: 1st Shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm and 2nd Shift from 2:30 pm to 11 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
