Forklift Operator in Nashville, TN

Job Description

Operate a sit-down forklift to move metal and materials around the facility efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

+ Operate sit-down forklifts to transport and relocate materials within the facility.

+ Ensure materials are moved and stored according to company standards.

+ Conduct routine inspections of the forklift equipment before and after use.

+ Assist in loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks.

+ Maintain inventory accuracy by following set protocols for material handling.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.

+ Experience in industrial, rigging, and loader operations.

+ Skills in material handling, sheet metal, and inventory management.

+ Capability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with heavy equipment operation.

+ Experience in a similar industrial or warehouse setting is advantageous.

This is a Contract position based out of Ashland City, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $20.30/hr.
