Agile Coaching & Mentoring: Serve as an expert coach, mentor, and trainer on Agile and Product principles, focusing on building high-performing teams.
Ceremony Facilitation: Expertly facilitate and coach teams on effective execution of all core Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Quarterly Planning.
Maturity Assessment: Conduct ongoing Agile and Product maturity assessments to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for team topology, roles, and processes.
Metrics & Reporting: Establish, maintain, and coach teams on interpreting Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, lead time) and quality visualization (e.g., Definition of Ready/Done, epics, user stories).
Process Education: Drive the adoption of critical artefacts like CFM (Customer, Flow, Mindset) and best practices for visualization, experimentation, and value definition.
Tooling & Practices: Educate and influence teams on best practices for Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence) and modern engineering practices (DevOps, CI/CD).
Key Activities:Coaching and Education / Training:
Provide guidance on team topology, roles, events, ceremonies, policies and artefacts.
Conduct workshops for the team.
Coach team on data and insight + strategy for product operations lead data analyst.
Facilitation of Ceremonies:
Scrum-masters to lead teams in effectively running agile ceremonies - Sprint planning, Backlog reviews, Daily Stand ups, Sprint reviews, retrospectives, Scrum of Scrums, PO / BA sync and quarterly planning.
Support in all product team meetings and lead other meetings as required e.g. design calls, discoveries, feature requests.
Agile / Product assessment
Conduct ongoing assessments of team maturity for agile / product practices.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable next steps.
Continuous improvement:
Establish and maintain agile metrics to track performance and areas for improvement.
Support weekly 121s with product owners and BAs.
Deliverables:Training materials:
Custom workshops and training materials tailored to need for example leading quarterly planning, design sprints, user insights (observations, interviews)
Artefacts:
To be coached and shared with client include OKRs, vision, mission, lean UX canvas, knowns, unknowns, assumptions matrix, opportunity solution tree, experiment cards, value proposition templates, pains, gains, jobs to be done, personas.
Coach on customer, flow, mindset (CFM) and essential practices of visualization, experimentation and value definition.
Coach on Better teams, Better Products, Better Thinking
Tooling:
Educate teams and build capability on agile tooling e.g. Jira, Confluence including visualization best practices e.g. in Figma / Miro.
Agile and product assessment reports:
Quarterly product health dashboard and reports to include agile and product metrics e.g. velocity, cumulative flow, burndown / up charts, lead time, cycle time.
Coach teams on quality visualization and hygiene e.g. epics, user stories, definition of ready, definition of done.
Support continuous improvement efforts
Educate, Influence and drive delivery and adoption of modern engineering practices and tooling - e.g. DevOps, CI / CD, Jenkins, X-Ray, Github.
Proactive Analysis: Identify key opportunities to drive performance utilizing various analytics techniques. Communicate customer and business insights and data findings to influence decision-making and drive action to achieve business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure analytics efforts are aligned with overall business objectives with an aim to help drive business agility.
Actionable Insights: Provide actionable insights to product owners to help them understand trends and user behaviors.
Experimentation and Testing: Support the experimentation and design process including prototyping, A/B testing setup, execution, and analysis. Clearly interpret results to inform product partners.
Data Exploration: Explore data to uncover actionable insights and make strategic product recommendations.
UX / UI / Product Design: Perform a deep dive on UX / UI for Manage and Approve team. Provide recommendations including quick wins and longer term product development to improve user experience.
Support product owners on product design decisions to help ensure design is intuitive for users.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a product-focused environment.
Deep expertise in various scaled Agile frameworks and methodologies.
Strong ability to coach, train, and facilitate workshops for cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in tracking and reporting key Agile performance metrics.
