Job Title: Mailroom Clerk
• Job Description
We are seeking a Mailroom Clerk with professional office experience, particularly in customer-facing environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in shipping and receiving, specifically with USPS, FedEx, DHL, and UPS, as well as production printing and scanning abilities. Candidates must be capable of lifting 25-50 lbs.
Responsibilities
+ Handle shipping and receiving processes using USPS, FedEx, DHL, and UPS.
+ Perform production printing and scanning tasks.
+ Sort and file mail and documents efficiently.
+ Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations.
+ Utilize hardware and software to support cost recovery, document management, and workflow processes.
+ Determine the correct method and materials for packing and verify packing slips for incoming materials.
+ Troubleshoot and solve problems related to mailroom operations.
Essential Skills
+ Professional office experience in a customer-facing role.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving with USPS, FedEx, DHL, and UPS.
+ Proficiency in production printing and scanning.
+ Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 1-2 years of related work experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in the legal industry is highly desired.
+ Strong customer service, personal, and communication skills.
+ Some copy job experience is preferred.
+ May require a valid driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage.
+ Working knowledge of copier equipment and repair is preferred.
+ Basic electronics knowledge is preferred.
+ Ability to work independently and flexibly.
+ Ability to comprehend instructions for mail delivery.
+ Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and publications.
Work Environment
Work will be conducted onsite, from 8am to 5pm. The environment is professional, requiring adherence to office protocols and the ability to work with a variety of technologies and equipment. The role offers opportunities for contract workers to be converted to full-time employment after 320 hours, with potential for extension based on availability.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
