Position Summary:
The Master Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining the production and material plans that align with customer demand, inventory targets, and operational capacity. This role ensures optimal resource utilization, timely delivery of products, and supports strategic business objectives through effective planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Demand & Supply Planning:
+ Analyze sales forecasts, customer orders, and historical data to create accurate production plans.
+ Balance supply and demand to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
+ Production Scheduling:
+ Develop master production schedules that optimize manufacturing efficiency and meet delivery commitments.
+ Coordinate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and capacity alignment.
+ Inventory Management:
+ Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to maintain optimal stock levels.
+ Implement strategies to reduce obsolete and excess inventory.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams to resolve planning conflicts.
+ Communicate schedule changes and priorities to stakeholders promptly.
+ Continuous Improvement:
+ Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, tools, and systems.
+ Support implementation of best practices in supply chain planning.
Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
+ Experience:3–5 years in production planning, supply chain, or related roles.
+ Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
+ Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
+ Proficiency in Excel and planning software.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
