Procurement Manager – Capex

Job Description

The Procurement Manager – Capex will be an integral part of the Global Capex Procurement team, focusing on the sourcing and supplier selection process for CAPEX at a newly acquired factory in Wilson. This facility will produce OTC products, including liquids and tablets, as part of a strategic project aimed at developing US regional OTC manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize market knowledge, spend analytics, and sourcing management processes to rationalize and select suppliers.

+ Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contract wording, pricing, terms, and conditions.

+ Assess continuity of business and lead the supplier selection process for equipment purchases.

+ Provide procurement-specific input to cross-functional teams.

+ Impact corporate measurements and results, such as CAPEX and MRO budget.

Essential Skills

+ Purchasing and purchase order expertise.

+ Vendor management and strategic sourcing.

+ Contract negotiation skills.

+ Good technical understanding of standard equipment.

+ Basic understanding of equipment specific to Infant Nutrition, such as Liquid Milk Processing, Spray Drying, Blending, and Powder Transport.

+ Good understanding of the services provided in factories.

+ Ability to negotiate commercial and legal terms with suppliers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Science/Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent.

+ 5 to 8 years of experience in Procurement, with a focus on Capex Procurement in the Food or Infant Nutrition industry.

+ Experience in managing senior stakeholders.

+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey goals and feedback.

Work Environment

This role requires on-site work at the newly acquired factory in Wilson. The work environment involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships to support the strategic project of developing US regional OTC manufacturing capabilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Wilson, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $127000.00 - $159000.00/yr.
