Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Job Description

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services essential for our business operations. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, maintains strong supplier relationships, and aligns procurement strategies with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company objectives.

+ Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment.

+ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and vendors.

+ Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

+ Analyze market trends to identify potential supply chain risks and cost-saving opportunities.

+ Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement.

+ Track records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

+ Lead and mentor the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Epicor is required.

+ Experience in procurement or purchasing management, particularly in contract manufacturing or electronics industry.

+ Strong negotiation and communication skills.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

+ Knowledge of sourcing and vendor management.

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

+ Experience in global sourcing and logistics, with an emphasis on tariff cost savings.

+ 8+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement.

+ 3+ years in management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly preferred.

+ Experience with high volume SKUs and multiple product lines.

+ Knowledge of ITAR compliance.

+ Any certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or CIPS are a plus.

Work Environment

You will work 100% onsite, primarily at our headquarters, but you may need to visit three additional buildings on the same street periodically. The work environment is fast-paced, with nearly 800 employees. The hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

401k matching Partial premium coverage for health, dental, vision insurance. PTO, Maternity leave, etc. Yearly company bonus based on company performance and individual performance

This is a fully onsite position in Santa Ana,CA.
