JOB SUMMARY

The Production- Utility will be responsible for the housekeeping of the Mill Work area and associated equipment, safety shower inspections, and preparation of reports and work order requests

Shift: 1st shift Mon-Fri 7a-3p, must be flexible for overtime and weekends as needed

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Keep work areas of the Mill clean by washing areas with water hoses and sweeping with brooms.

* Wash up of floor, walls and equipment with water hoses and high pressure washers as needed.

* Moving chemicals and other equipment to needed areas around plant with forklift or other machinery.

* Operate clamp truck, bobcat and backhoe machinery to assist with cleanup efforts when necessary

* Perform general maintenance to equipment and supplies, and report any additional needed repairs to shift supervisor

* Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SWR employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.

* Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* At least one-year minimum experience operating equipment- lift truck, clamp truck, bobcat and backhoe - and achieve inhouse certification to operate equipment.

* Knowledge of safe operating practices of mill and equipment, including related paperwork and inspection procedures

* Some computer experience necessary

* Must have the ability to work in a team environment and follow established processes

* Read, write and speak English

* Variety of mechanical skills

* Ability to complete simple math equations (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)

* Excellent attention-to-detail skills
